Senin, 08/08/2011 23:27 WIB Pakar Herbal Profesor Hembing Meninggal Dunia AN Uyung Pramudiarja – detikHealth Jakarta, Salah satu ahli herbal Indonesia, Profesor Hembing Wijayakusuma atau sering disapa Prof Hembing meninggal dunia di RS Medistra, Senin (8/8/2011) pukul 01.30 WIB (dini hari). Kepergiannya begitu mendadak, bahkan hingga malam ini kabar tersebut belum sampai ke sesama dokter herbal. Kabar meninggalnya Prof Hembing dibenarkan salah seorang staf RS Medistra, Hendro saat dihubungi detikHealth Senin malam. Hal yang sama juga disampaikan oleh sekretaris Prof Hembing, Ibu Yama kepada detikHealth. “Iya, benar meninggal di RS Medistra hari ini pukul 01.30 (dinihari) dan sudah dimakamkan tadi siang,” ungkap Ibu Yama saat dihubungi detikHealth, Senin (8/8/2011). Meski begitu, sejumlah pakar herbal justru mengaku belum mendengar kabar mengejutkan tersebut. “Siapa, Prof Hembing meninggal? Saya malah belum dengar itu. Kapan? Hari ini?” kata dr Hardhi Pranata, SpS, Ketua Umum Perhimpunan Dokter Herbal Medik Indonesia kepada detikHealth. Prof Hembing yang meninggal di usia 71 tahun ini dikenal sangat peduli terhadap kelestarian herbal asli Indonesia ini meninggal di RS Medistra Jakarta Selatan pada pukul 01.30 WIB (dini hari), Senin (8/8/2011). Belum diketahui pasti apa penyebab meninggalnya dokter yang memiliki 3 orang anak tersebut. Selain mendadak, kepergian Prof Hembing tampaknya juga belum terlalu banyak dipublikasikan. Salah satu orang yang cukup dekat dengan Prof Hembing, Rachmawati Soekarnoputri saat dihubungi detikHealth juga mengaku belum mendengar kabar tersebut. “Terakhir ketemu dengan Prof Hembing pada November 2010, waktu acara wisuda di Universitas Bung Karno,” ungkap Rachmawati, salah satu anak dari proklamator kemerdekaan Indonesia, Ir Soekarno. Ketika Universitas Bung Karno didirikan, Rachmawati pernah menganugerahkan gelar Dewan Kurator dan senat guru besar kepada Prof Hembing. Sebagai pakar yang sangat peduli terhadap kelestarian herbal Indonesia, Prof Hembing sering mendapat penghargaan. Di antaranya Bintang Jasa Utama dari pemerintah dan Penghargaan Keanekaragaman Hayati dari Menteri Lingkungan Hidup. Di level internasional, Prof Hembing juga pernah menerima penghargaan dari Spanyol pada tahun 1987. Sementara atas jasanya mengembangkan terapi sengatan lebah, ia juga diberi penghargaan oleh Menteri Kehutanan dan Perkebunan Republik Indonesia.

Answer: The first mention of the name Rhode Island or any of its variations in connection with Narragansett Bay is in the letter of Giovanni da Verrazzano, the explorer, dated July 8, 1524, in which he refers to an island near the mouth of Narragansett Bay, and likens the island to the Island of Rhodes in the Mediterranean. The fact that Verrazzano probably referred to Block Island rather than to Aquidneck is of no great moment, the point being that he applied the name to one of the islands in this vicinity and that this fact was known in England for it had been printed in English long before the Pilgrims came to New England. This letter was printed in Italian in 1556 and in English in 1582, and again in 1600, so that it may be considered as easily accessible to the early settlers before they left England.

I’m 19 and I’d like an office job, but not just a deadend office job, but more of an accomplished office job. I’m in college, I know of no office jobs, but I know that is the type of job I want as a child I would always take checks and play paper work because it’s just the type of thing I like to do.
