Can a Tennessee hospital refuse to bill your insurance company and bill you instead?

Can a Tennessee hospital refuse to bill your insurance company and bill you instead?
A Tennessee hospital refused to bill my insurance company and attached a lien to my settlement for the full amount of the bill. They would have got a discount rate if they billed the insurance company.

Answer: If the hospital is not a member of the insurers network, they are billing you since they don’t want the discount rate, they want the full payment. You are expected in turn to submit the claim to your insurance company.

Assuming you went out-of-network, it is likely that you will only be covered for 60 to 70% of the bill and expected to pay the difference.

However, if the hospital is in your insurers network, you need to complain to your insurer. This is deemed balance billing and is usually against the contract and/or state law.

Tennessee is one of Hans Zimmer’s finest piece in his career in producing movie soundtracks. This theme was featured in Pearl Harbor and remains as one of my classic favorites.

How to choose a location for a new national park?
I have a high school project where i have to choose several typical locations in Canada for new national parks. I need reasons for them too, not just random choices.

So my question: What kinds of things do i need to look for when “planning” a location for a new national park? If possible, can you guys think of locations in Canada where one could work?

So far i can think of stuff like endangered species, conservation, etc.

Answer: i can’t tell you where but i can tell you what to look for look for endangered species or an exotic location that is at treat maybe a place where indigenous animals live or move through.

How do i know if I qualify for Oklahoma residency or not?

How do i know if I qualify for Oklahoma residency or not?
I have been attending Jones Academy in Oklahoma since 2006. I was planning on attending college in Oklahoma when I graduate this May. I was born in Texas and both my parents live in Texas but I don’t live with either of them. How do I know if I qualify as an Oklahoma resident or not? My boarding school is my home more than any other place. Would this qualify?

Answer: All you need is an OK driver’s license proving your residency dated back at least 12 months. If you don’t have that, do you have a vehicle that is registered in OK? A local bank account may work. Having a library card my prove residency as well. The best thing to do is check with the college you plan on attending and their requirements of residency or the Oklahoma Higher Ed (http://www.okhighered.org/). Hope this helps.

Keri Russell Biography, Birth date/place and Movie

February 2, 2011 Leave a comment

Keri Russell

Keri Lynn Russell (born March 23, 1976) is an American actress and dancer, most known for playing the title role on the television series Felicity. She was born in Fountain Valley, California to David Russell and Stephanie Stephens, and grew up in Mesa, Arizona and Denver, Colorado.

Early career

Russell first found her way onto television as a cast member of the New Mickey Mouse Club variety show on the Disney Channel. She was on the show from 1991 to 1993, with her final year seeing the introduction of soon-to-be pop singers Christina Aguilera, Britney Spears, and Justin Timberlake.

Appearances

Several appearances on film and TV followed, with one of her most significant pre-Felicity roles coming in the 1996’s The Babysitter’s Seduction. However, it was a fairly stereotypical TV movie, with melodramatic overtones. She had a role in the shortlived soap opera series Malibu Shores the same year. Russell also had an appearance on Jon Bon Jovi’s music video “Always” with Jack Noseworthy.

Television

A major attraction for many fans of the actress is her (usually) long and curly hair. A drastic hairstyle change at the beginning of Felicity’s second season was considered to be the cause of a significant drop in the show’s ratings. This reportedly led to a new policy at The WB where major changes in appearance by on-screen talent must be approved by the network.

Major roles

The filming of Felicity had left Russell somewhat drained, so she went on hiatus when the series ended and considered quitting acting. Her next role was as part of the Mel Gibson-led bio-pic We Were Soldiers in 2002, where she played the wife of an American serviceman who became involved in the first major battle between U.S. and Viet Cong forces in the Vietnam War. After that, she moved to New York City and took about two years to avoid the business of Hollywood, spending time with friends.

Broadway

The actress made her Broadway stage debut in 2004, appearing with Jeremy Piven, Andrew McCarthy, and Ashlie Atkinson in Neil LaBute’s Fat Pig. In 2005 she returned to television and film, first with an appearance in the Hallmark Hall of Fame TV movie Magic of Ordinary Days. In theatrical release was The Upside of Anger, where she appeared alongside Kevin Costner and Joan Allen. She will be in the mid-year miniseries Into the West.

Felicity co-stars

A number of her Felicity co-stars went on to appear in J.J. Abrams’s next TV series, Alias, but Russell has declined invitations to be part of the show. In a seminar at the Museum of Television and Radio, Abrams said, “I’ve asked Keri if she would ever do it [Alias], and I usually get this, sort of like, giggle—and then she hangs up.” In 2005, he asked her to join the cast of Mission: Impossible III, and she accepted. The film is due for release in 2006.

Personal life

She currently resides in Manhattan.
